Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These general conditions of use (the "Terms") govern how LITKTOOLS provides the site and its services, and set out the conditions under which you ("you" / "the User") may access and use them. The Terms are always available at the bottom of every page under the heading "Terms of Service".

By registering on the site or using its services, you accept these Terms without reservation. When you register through the registration form, you expressly accept the Terms by checking the box in front of the text: "I acknowledge that I have read and understood the Terms of Service and I accept them." If you do not accept the Terms, you must refrain from using the site and its services. LITKTOOLS reserves the right to modify these Terms unilaterally at any time.

Article 1: The Site

The site is operated by an individual developer. It is a private, free fan project providing data analysis tools for the browser game Travian Kingdoms. It is not owned by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Travian Games GmbH, in whole or in part, and was not created in the name of Travian Games. The brand "Travian" is a registered trademark owned by Travian Games; all rights to that mark remain with them.

For any question about the site, you may contact us by email at [email protected].

Article 2: Access to the Site

The site provides free access to team-management tools for the game Travian Kingdoms. It is accessible free of charge from anywhere to any User with an internet connection. All costs you incur to access the service (computer equipment, software, internet connection, and so on) are your responsibility.

Visitors who are not registered do not have access to reserved (login-gated) services. To use them, you must register by completing the registration form. By registering, you agree to provide true and accurate information about your contact details, including your email address.

Any event due to force majeure that results in a malfunction of the site or its server, or any interruption or modification carried out during maintenance, does not engage our liability. In such cases you agree not to hold us responsible for any interruption or suspension of service, even without prior notice.

Article 3: Data Collection

The site collects and processes personal information in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation (including the GDPR for users in the European Economic Area). We collect the minimum necessary to operate the service: the email address and username you provide at registration, plus a salted hash of your password — the plaintext password is never stored or transmitted in a recoverable form. See the Privacy Policy for full details of the data we collect and how we use it.

In accordance with applicable data-protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and object to the processing of your personal data. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at the address in Article 1.

Article 4: Intellectual Property

The trademarks, logos, signs, and all content of the site (texts, images, sound, and so on) are protected by intellectual-property law, including copyright. You must obtain our prior authorization for any reproduction, publication, or copy of the site's content. You agree to use the content of the site in a strictly private context; any commercial or advertising use is strictly forbidden.

Any total or partial reproduction of the site by any means whatsoever, without our express permission, may constitute an infringement punishable under applicable intellectual-property law. If you reproduce, copy, or publish protected content with permission, you must cite the author and its source.

Some icons used on the site belong to Travian Games and are taken from the game Travian Kingdoms. They are used solely for this private, free fan project, with no commercial purpose. No intention or commercial purpose is pursued.

Article 5: Responsibility

The information published on the site is deemed reliable, but we do not guarantee that it is free of defects, errors, or omissions. The information is provided for indication and general guidance only, without contractual value. Despite regular updates, the site cannot be held responsible for changes to administrative or legal provisions that occur after publication. Similarly, the site cannot be held responsible for the use and interpretation of the information it contains.

You are responsible for keeping your password secret. Any disclosure of your password, in any form, is prohibited. You assume all risks related to the use of your login credentials, and we decline all responsibility for them.

The site cannot be held responsible for any viruses that may infect your computer or any other equipment, following use of, access to, or download from this site. Our liability cannot be engaged in the event of force majeure or an unforeseeable, insurmountable act of a third party.

Article 6: Hypertext Links

Hypertext links may appear on the site. By clicking on them, you leave the site. We have no control over the pages to which these links lead and cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for their content.

Article 7: Cookies

During your visits, cookies may be installed on your browser. Cookies are small files stored temporarily on your computer by your browser and are necessary for certain features of the site. Cookies do not contain personal information and cannot be used to identify you; a cookie may contain a randomly generated identifier. Some cookies expire at the end of your visit, while others remain. The information in cookies is used to improve the site, and by browsing the site you accept them. See the Privacy Policy for details of the cookies we set.

Article 8: Publication by the User

The site may allow members to publish content. In your publications you agree to respect the rules of netiquette and the rules of law in force. The site may moderate publications and reserves the right to refuse their posting without having to justify itself.

You remain the owner of all your intellectual-property rights in your publications. However, by publishing, you grant the site a non-exclusive, free right to represent, reproduce, adapt, modify, broadcast, and distribute your publication, directly or through an authorized third party, worldwide, on any medium, for the duration of the intellectual property. Any content you put online is your sole responsibility; you undertake not to post content that could harm the interests of third parties. Content may be removed or modified at any time and for any reason without notice.

Article 9: Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the User's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. In the event that a dispute cannot be resolved amicably between the parties, the competent courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction. For any question relating to the application of these Terms, you may contact us at the address given in Article 1.
